The English class 2007-2008 is formed by a group of 31 Venezuelan students who are majoring in education at the School of Education of Universidad Central de Venezuela.


During the second year, these students learn English for Academic Purposes -mainly focused on reading comprehension- and develop a group project called Text typology by using Web 2.0 tools. The whole class is divided into 8 teams of four members and each group creates a text typology e-portfolio.
